After studying bioprocess engineering, Mr Brandes started working at WDT in 2001. Initially, he was responsible as qualification manager for the qualification of ultrapure water plants, for cleaning validation and for the maintenance of GMP-relevant equipment. He coordinated numerous projects in the area of GMP operational technology and was responsible for the GMP-compliant implementation of several construction projects. He is currently responsible for technical compliance at WDT across the company.
Mr Brandes is a recognised subject matter expert and combines technical expertise with strong quality awareness. After 20 years of working in the GMP environment, he can look back on a wide range of professional experience. Mr. Brandes is a member of the Association of German Engineers (VDI) and an honorary member of various guideline committees in the field of technical building equipment (TGA), clean room technology (guideline series VDI 2083) and technical GMP (Sheet 6305). He is also a speaker at conferences and congresses and is the author of various technical articles.
