Dr. Marion A. Gebhart

has been a self-employed consultant and expert since 2019 and is the owner of MAGfood - Ingenieurbüro für Lebensmittelchemie. After studying food chemistry (TUM) and gaining her doctorate on the subject of the quality of packaged foods, she initially worked as a department head in a food laboratory and switched to scientific and regulatory consulting in 2004. The focus is on expert opinions on questions of marketability of food, its ingredients, manufacturing processes including labelling.

With her many years of experience in the field of special foods, food supplements and novel foods, she supports an international clientele in the development of new products for the EU market. The supervision and elaboration of authorisation procedures for innovative substances are further focal points of her work. She is very well networked in the industry and is a member of the Working Groups on Nutrition and Additives of the Food Chemical Society.
