studied pharmacy and, after working as an employed pharmacist in public pharmacies in Vienna, completed her doctoral studies in natural sciences (specialising in pharmacognosy/phytochemistry) at the University of Vienna. Since 2010, she has been working as an expert in the department of herbal, homeopathic and veterinary medicinal products of the AGES Medizinmarktaufsicht (AGES)/Federal Office for Safety in Health Care (BASG). She acts as Austria's Alternate in the HMPC, Delegate in the HMPWG and participates in various committees at national level. In addition, she is a lecturer at the Postgraduate Center of the University of Vienna.
