studied biology (diploma) at the Universities of Würzburg and Caen (France), focussing on microbiology, biochemistry and pharmaceutical biology and has been working in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry for over 25 years.
She first started her professional career in quality assurance at the Procter and Gamble company and then moved to Heel GmbH, where she managed the microbiology laboratory for many years.
In 2016, she took over the division management of quality control in this company, a position she still holds today, and led her division through several international inspections by authorities, including the FDA, MoIT RU, ANVISA and SAUMP.
From 2019 to 2021, she completed the advanced training course "Sachkundige Person nach AMG" (Qualified Person according to the German Medicinal Product Act) at the University of Tübingen, which was set up by aka Chemie to provide natural scientists with the relevant expertise. In addition to her activities as a division manager, she has also been performing QP tasks since January 2022.
The introduction of the "lean management" philosophy in the functional units of quality control is one of her key topics. In addition to creating suitable organisational structures in quality control and implementing lean management tools, this also includes, for example, the complete reconstruction of laboratories and offices.
