has a degree in Pharmaceutical Science, and a PhD in the field of Analytical Chemistry. Additionally, she has honed her skills with a post-graduate specialization course in Clinical Analysis, and, more recently (in May 2023), was awarded with the title of Specialist in the Pharmaceutical Industry by the Portuguese Pharmaceutical Society.
While the specialization in the Pharmaceutical Industry title recognizes her as holding the highest levels of knowledge and experience in the pharmaceutical industry, for both traditional pharmaceuticals and non-traditional medicinal products (such as cannabis), it also enables her to assume the role and responsibilities of the Technical Director or Qualified Person that’s required for holders of a manufacturing authorization.
In addition to being a university professor for more than 20 years, and professional experience in the cannabis cultivation, distribution, and manufacturing areas of the pharmaceutical industry, she has also an important experience as internal and external auditor, specialized consultant, and trainer. She joined The Force company in 2022 and since May 2023 she is one of the managing directors of The Force Portugal.
