is a PhD in biology and has extensive expertise in the field of plant ecology and plant cultivation in Southern Africa. After working in a consulting company specialising in regulatory advice on natural health products, she was responsible for the areas of biological and herbal medicinal products at the German Pharmaceutical Industry Association (BPI) for almost 13 years. Today, she is working for the German Pharmaceutical Association (Verband Pharma Deutschland) and deals with issues such as the differentiation of medicinal products, food supplements and other special product groups.
