Überblick über die Bedeutung und Funktionen einzelner Pharmakovigilanz-Datenbanken und verbundenen Verpflichtungen von pharmazeutischen Unternehmen bzw. Zulassungsinhaber
Mit dem Inkrafttreten der neuen Pharmakovigilanz-Gesetzgebung im Juli 2012 wurden Zulassungsinhaber mit Sitz in der EU verpflichtet, Informationen der Europäischen Arzneimittel-Agentur (EMA) über zugelassene Arzneimittel vorzulegen und diese auf dem neuesten Stand zu halten. Des Weiteren ist die elektronische Einreichung aller Verdachtsfälle zu unerwünschten Arzneimittelwirkungen seit November 2017 direkt in das Informationssystem EudraVigilance der EMA obligatorisch. Um diesen gesetzlichen Vorgaben gerecht zu werden, müssen sich die Zulassungsinhaber den EU Pharmakovigilanz-Datenbanken bedienen – mit Vorhalten nachweislich geschultem Personal, um die Pflege dieser durchführen zu können. Gerade bei historischen Zulassungen oder Änderungen in der Unternehmensstruktur kann die Aktualität der hierin gemachten Angaben nicht immer gewährleistet werden.
Das Webinar gibt Ihnen einen Überblick über die Bedeutung und Funktionen einzelner Datenbanken und den damit verbundenen Verpflichtungen von pharmazeutischen Unternehmen bzw. Zulassungsinhabern. Im Anschluss des Vortrags besteht die Gelegenheit, individuelle Fragen zu stellen, Erfahrungen auszutauschen, und Probleme zu diskutieren.
