Die Trilogie der Entwicklung - Modul 2 der Reihe "Kombinationsprodukte für Arzneimittelhersteller"
Kombinationen von Arzneimittel mit Medizinprodukten können integraler Natur sein, also ein Arzneimittel darstellen, das fest mit einem Medizinprodukt verbunden ist, wie das beispielsweise bei Injektoren, Pens, Fertigspritzen oder Inhalatoren der Fall ist. Auch arzneimittelfreisetzende Implantate sowie andere arzneimittelfreisetzende Systeme können zu dieser Produktkategorie gehören. Im Licht der den nun ab 26. Mai 2021 inkraftgetretenen MDR ergeben sich für solche Produkte eine Reihe von Änderungen hinsichtlich der Klassifizierung, Konformitäts-Zertifizierung und Kennzeichnung des Medizinprodukteanteils, sowie der für die Zulassung einzureichenden Daten und Unterlagen sowie deren Implementierung in das Arzneimittel Dossier und der Notwendigkeit, eine Benannte Stelle zu involvieren. Dabei gibt es insbesondere für integral mit Arzneimitteln verbundenen Medizinprodukten neue Verantwortlichkeiten für den Medizinprodukteteil und auch die Möglichkeit, dass die Konformitätsbewertung in Verantwortung des Arzneimittelhersteller erfolgt. Hinsichtlich der Sicherheits- und Leistungsanforderungen ist dann eine Stellungnahme einer Benannten Stelle ("Notified Body Opinion/ NBOp") einzuholen. Es ist daher wichtig, dass sich die Hersteller von Kombinationsprodukten auch mit den Anforderungen für den Medizinproduktanteil im Detail auseinandersetzen. Wir haben deshalb eine 3teilige Webinarreihe konzipiert und haben dazu einen ausgewiesenen Experten als Referenten gewinnen können.
