After completing his studies in pharmacy and human biology as well as his doctorate on the metabolism of natural substances in Marburg and his habilitation with the award of the Venia Legendi for pharmacology and toxicology in Lübeck, Martin Tegtmeier was appointed honorary professor in bioprocess engineering/phytoextraction at Clausthal University of Technology in 2017. After almost 30 years of working in the pharmaceutical industry, Martin Tegtmeier now takes on tasks as Qualified Person and expert in the pharmaceutical sector. He has authored numerous publications in scientific books and journals. Together with Wolfgang Grimm and Götz Harnischfeger, he was awarded the 1st Prize for Pharmaceutical Technology for the second edition of "Stability Testing in Pharmacy" in 2005.
