holds a doctorate in pharmacy and has extensive expertise in the manufacture and testing of solid and liquid dosage forms. He has held various positions in pharmaceutical development, quality control, quality assurance and production in pharmaceutical manufacturing companies. For over 20 years he has been Head of Production (German Ordinance on the Manufacture of Medicinal Products and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (AMWHV)) and Qualified Person (German Medicinal Products Act (AMG)). One focus of his work is the sensible combination of regulatory principles with the requirements of a functioning manufacturing company.
For more than 10 years he was an appointed member of the pharmaceutical/technical committee of Pharma Deutschland e.V. (formerly BAH e.V.).
