As an infection immunologist with a doctorate, her current work as an internal clinician focuses on the evaluation of active medical devices from small manufacturers. She has experience in coordinating clinical trials and has authored various products herself, both for manufacturers and in an advisory capacity. She is therefore familiar with all phases: from basic biological research, product development, clinical trials, preparation of the Technical Documentation through to the assessment of products by the Notified Body and marketing authorisation as well as the certification of quality management systems.
