studied chemical engineering at the Hochschule Mannheim – University of Applied Sciences. After working as GMP Project Engineer and Qualification Engineer for the companies Deutscher Industrie Service and Aventis Behring (now CSL Behring), he moved to Merck KGaA in 2003 where he initially worked as an expertfor validations. Within a production plant for parenteral drugs he was responsible for the validation and technical support of ultrapure media systems, visual inspection systems, filling lines and climate monitoring systems as well as for the coordination of the entire environmental and water monitoring. In 2013, he moved to the Pharmaceutical Technology Department of Merck Healthcare KGaA as a GMP project engineer, where he was responsible for qualification activities at the Darmstadt site and for managing projects in the field of final visual inspection and leak testing systems. In 2020, as Head of Qualification, he took over the management of the Qualification Group within the Pharma Technology Department. Since May 2023, he has been working for Roche at the Mannheim site as Senior Manager Qualification in the Parenteral Launch and New Technology Department.
